Contest Objective: To encourage amateurs worldwide to exchange QSO information and expand their knowledge of DX propagation on the 10-meter band. Participants should aim to contact as many stations as possible during the second full weekend of December, starting 0000 UTC Saturday through 2359 UTC Sunday. This competition serves to improve operating skills and station capability across the 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meter bands. W/VE amateurs should work as many DX stations in as many DXCC entities as possible, while DX stations work W/VE stations in the 48 contiguous states and provinces.
