In the vast landscape of radio contests, characterized by a rich variety of events, the EUDX Contest stands out as an innovative and inclusive addition. The idea of creating this contest was born with the aim of offering an accessible and enjoyable experience for all amateur radio enthusiasts, both European and DX.
When we set out to conceive the idea of this new contest, we set ourselves the goal of creating something simple, an opportunity for everyone to participate and have fun. Carefully analyzing the landscape of radio contests, we found a gap: the lack of a continental event that allowed European stations to connect with each other and with other stations around the world.
