DARC-WAEDC

Many contesters consider WAEDC the year’s most challenging event. As a pure DX contest, it focuses on intercontinental QSOs between Europe and the rest of the world, often yielding DX totals comparable to CQWW. The unique QTC-traffic feature adds a strategic layer of fun. DX stations transfer “telegrams” of previous QSO data to European stations; each successful record earns a point for both. This allows DX stations to potentially double their score, while some Europeans earn over 70% of their total points through QTCs alone.
